The day-long Seminar by the World Food Trust saw eminent dignitaries from various walks of the agriculture and food industry. NIFTEM (National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management) is the brainchild of the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) catering to the various stakeholders such as entrepreneurs, food processing industry, exporters, policy makers, government and existing institutions. It was represented by Shri Chindi Vasudevappa, VC-NIFTEM, who spoke on the topic of “Food technology, food processing, value addition, food fortifications, supply chain management”. Mr. Vasudevappa was felicitated by Mr. Siddhartha Awasthy, VP-World Food Trust.
